This gorgeous Victorian Purse Perfume is superbly decorated with an embossed design featuring a sweet child in a swing. The swing hangs from a tree branch in a garden setting, and is nicely framed with a scroll border, the design is on both sides of this lovely perfume, and it has a ring so that it can be worn on a chain as a pendant, probably originally worn on a chatelaine. It measures a dainty 1 3/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide, and still has the original dauber. It is clearly marked, Sterling, and is in perfect condition, with a nice patina that only comes with age. It is English, from the 1880s. The perfect gift for that very special person, and a very lovely addition to any collection of Victoriana or perfumes.
