Figural Egg Cup or Toothpick Holder with Beautiful Dog

This lovely old Figural Egg Cup or Toothpick Holder features a beautiful Dog sitting beside an upturned top hat which holds the toothpicks or Egg. It has a luster glaze, the cup in a soft green, and the dog in a deep shade of Marigold. It is marked "Foreign" and would be from Germany or Japan mid 1900s. It is 3" long, by 2" wide and stands 2 1/2" tall, the condition is very good with just a little wear on the rim of the hat. A lovely addition to any collection of dogs, or toothpicks , and it would also work as an egg cup, or to hold a small posy of flowers.
