Amethyst Blown Glass Fingerbowl

Hand-blown deep amethyst color glass fingerbowl with polished pontil. Probably English, nineteenth century. Beautiful bell-tone when tapped, and you can see the slight variations in circumference, as well as minute occasional bubble indicating its hand-made nature. Wonderful item for a bright, sunny window. Size: Approximately 3.5” high, 5” diameter. Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs. Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
