This is a wonderfully charming antique creamer and covered sugar set.

It is completed handpainted with watercolor-esque flowers ad background, with deeper colored greens and vines. It doesn't appear to have been painted by a master porcelain painter, but it is lovely nevertheless.

Marked: M. Z. AUSTRIA for Moritz Zdekauer, Austria, which dates this set to 1884 - 1909.

Artist Signed: Depose Matte finish which is unique to this the gold is matte as well.

Condition EXCELLENT Minimal gold loss to the finial of the sugar bowl lid.

Measurements... Sugar Bowl 3" h to top of finial, 5" handle to handle, bowl opening 2-1/2", Base 2-3/4" d Creamer: 4-1/2" handle to spout, 2-1/3" d opening, 2-1/2" base.
