This lovely AVON, lipstick compact, is unique in size and shape. It has a full lipstick called 'White Icing' ....Very 1960s!

An AVON BOOK PIECE...it is "gold-tone alligator grain embossed metal lipstick mirror combination". Pictured in 'Vintage and Contemporary Purse Accessories by Roselyn Gerson' Published 1997.

Measures: 2 1/8" l x 7/8" h and 3/4" w

The 'lipstick container' was patented in 1936 by Elgin and many other manufactureres followed suit from there.
