Today we have a very feminine, French LIMOGES Vanity Dresser Tray featuring hand painted light petal pink multi-petaled roses in full bloom, with a few that have yet to bloom. The rose leaves are green/brown veined and gray shadowed leaves give the gorgeous porcelain and added depth. All on a base color of ivory butter-cream, blending seamlessly to a hint of mint toward the outer edges.

Dimensions (note: slight ‘waist’ to the sides): Width 11-1/8” to 11-1/4” Depth 7-3/4” to 8-1/4” Height ½ inch

No repairs, cracks, chips, crazing, or paint loss. Nominal gold gild loss to edge only.

The roses are all a rose color, and are clustered on opposite corners of the tray somewhat asymmetrically. The tray shows interestingly from all 4 directions.

Triple backstamps: 1. LIMOGES, U. C. (Union Ceramique) FRANCE* 2. Signed by Artist: E. Tossey 3. A tiny gold indeterminate mark *UC which was used during the period from 1909 to 1938.
