Size 7/8 ... We always measure vintage clothing and shoes for accuracy. Each designer, and each era, has different sizing we have found.

Measurements taken with a cloth measuring tape: ~ Inside waistband all around 28" (with a 3" dip in front) : ~ Zip Fly 5-3/4" ~ FRONT Waist Band to Center Inseam 10" ~ BACK Waist Band to Center Inseam 13" ~ Inseam 29-1/2" ~ Outer Seam (SIDE) from waist band 40" ~ Bottom Leg Seam 7" wide ~ HIPS width at outside edge, bottom of back pockets, 18-3/4 (double)

These measurements are for you to use as you want the jeans to fall on you. The hips are not true hips, just width at base of back pocket.

*The size marked is 7/8, the model in photo is a size 4 & tall...they are short on her & fit her very loosely in leg.

These jeans are made to be high waisted with a dip in the front. If I remember correctly they buttoned right on the belly button. As you can see they are photographed differently. Can be worn either way.
