A Standard Poodle is an elegant medium to large-sized dog. The rough texture of the ceramic realistically represents the poodle’s wiry and curly coat. He is clipped, well groomed, and wears a red and black collar – ready for show! This figurine is 3 3/4 inches tall and overall 5 ½ inches wide.

The figurine is signed “G Dimmer 1953”. Gertrude M. Dimmer (1915-1998), was a self-taught ceramic artist and teacher in the Metro Detroit area. Her ceramic work reflects her artistic ability in free style drawing and the perfectionism of her hand painting.

Condition: The figure is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, or repairs. It does have fine crazing throughout.
