The top is a painting of two young girls. on four of the sides are the famous paintings: Dancers Practicing at the Bar by Degas, Northeaster by Winslow Homer, Peace and Plenty by George Inness,and finally, The Horse Fair by Rosa Bonheur. The bottom is marked Fancy Assortment Sunshine Biscuits, Inc.
This tin was started in production on 10/14/1948.
The tin is nice with normal wear due to the age of almost 60 years of age. There is some paint loss at the lids edge, otherwise -- what a fun and great item!!
