This is Green Transferware collectible Collectors Plate from Kansas. It is 1969 Centennial plate celebrating the founding of Belleville, Kansas - THE CITY OF BELLS. It shows Belleville in 1914 as the "crossroads of America as it hits highway 36 and highway 81. It shows the high school, the Old Republic County Court House, the public Library, the Fairgrounds which shows the race tracks - they still have car races there - and it shows Yankee Inn. It has Sunflowers in various places as this is the state flower. In the middle it has a Large bell and it says it is the "CITY OF BELLS" This measures 10 1/2" across.
