A pencil drawing of “Chutes de la Touque,” signed “Stle” and dated October 1849. Page is 10 inches x 14 inches. Drawing is from the album or scrapbook of Albina Selby of Quebec City. Albina was the daughter of Charles Selby, a gentleman. Please see photos for information in an 1885 document appointing Charles Selby as a Landing Waiter & Searcher in H.M. Customs in the Province of Canada. This is one of over thirty pages of original drawings, handwritten poems, steele engravings, original watercolors, and prints from Albina’s mid-19th century album that we will be adding to our shop over the next weeks.
