An original, wonderfully poignant photograph of Alexandra Feodorovna, Russian Empress and wife of Emperor Nicholas II. The photo is signed by the Empress and dated Bernstorff, 1899. Photograph is in excellent condition, never having been framed nor been in contact with non-acid-free matting. Notice how crisp appearance of Alexandra’s dress and the details of her person and jewelry. Photograph measures 5” by 7 ¾”. Please note – we keep the original photograph under glass and this is a copy of a photo of the original photograph.
