A very fine hand-blown and hand-engraved glass goblet commemorating the “coronation” of King Edward VIII—“the Abdicator”. The sterling silver medallion encapsulated within the hollow knop of the stem is hallmarked London 1936. The footrim is folded under in the manner of 18th century goblets. 9 ¾” high. Top diameter 5”. Base 4 ¼”.
