A black papier mâché sewing box, rectangular in shape with a hinged lid. Inside is a removable, fitted tray. The front, sides and back are decorated with gilt scrolls. The sarcophagus-shaped cover has mother-of-pearl decoration and painted lilies and forget-me-nots. 10 ½” x 7 ½” x 4 ¾” high. Please see photos; the condition is very good.
