The beautifully embroidered folder is lined inside with white silk satin and contains twenty-three studio photos of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna’s boys, Tikon & Guri. The name of the photo studio is stamped in blue inside front cover. The outside was embroidered on velvet with silk thread by Grand Duchess Olga. The folder measures 12 ½” x 8 ½”. An original, wonderfully poignant photograph of Alexandra Feodorovna, Russian Empress and wife of Emperor Nicholas II. The photo is signed by the Empress and dated Bernstorff, 1899. Photograph is in excellent condition, never having been framed nor been in contact with non-acid-free matting.
