This is a covered casserole dish made by Taylor Smith and Taylor in the late 1950's and 1960's. The shape is called Ever Yours and the pattern on the lid is called Wood Hue. The light cream dish is free form in shape with dramatic upsweeping sides and a rich butterscotch interior. The round lid features the Wood Hue motif and has a metal handle. The casserole measures 10-1/4" x 6-3/4" x 4-7/8" tall at the ends. It is unmarked. Beautiful minty condition with just a manufacturing paint skip on the interior bottom of the bowl. Even if you don't collect this particular pattern, the dish would make a fantastic conversation piece! #9909
NOTE: I have had a very nice lady who took the time to tell me that the bottom of this dish is not original to the Wood Hue lid. The dish is the same as far as shape but the Wood Hue pieces actually have a mustard yellow interior, not brown. The bottom may actually be from the Autumn Harvest pattern. The brown matches so perfectly though; I never would have known!
