Huge Limoges 10 1/2" Cache Pot with Hand Painted Purple Thistles

This beautiful Limoges Cache Pot has been part of my collection for many years. This is a large size of this mold - standing 10 1/2" tall. The artist has painted very colorful Thistles in beautiful shades of Purple on both sides of the pot. This flower is an unusual one to see painted on these Cache Pots. The artist has done an excellent job of showing those sharp and jagged leaves which surround and protect those beautiful flowers. The background is painted in varying shades of blue that blend with the purple. The handles, rim and ball feet are all painted in rich Gold.

The Cache Pot stands 10 1/2" tall, 9 1/4" across it's widest width including the side looped handles, and has an ovoid circumference of 22 1/4".

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
