This lovely Limoges Jardiniere is hand painted with Poppies. The artist has painted the crimson Poppies with their black stamens around the Jardiniere and added the upright, strong leaves and a bit of delicate foliage in the background. The colors are very pleasing on this piece and the upper rim is painted with thick Gold.

The Jardiniere stands 6" tall, 7 1/2" across it's widest width and has a circumference of almost 23" around.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It has a small glaze miss in one area.

It is marked France, early 1900's.
