This is a wonderful silver desk item from the past that adds a touch of elegance to any desk. This was made by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. Wallingford, CT 1895-1898. They manufactured silverplate and sterling wares. This company was eventually absorbed into International Silver and they used this mark into the 20th century. The desk spike is marked " Sterling C 3351" and has the mark for Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. The base is a half dome with a string of silver beading around the edge. This is weighted and has the old green felt bottom. Dimension is 6" tall by 3-1/2" base. This is in excellent condition with age appropiate wear.
