Add elegance to your home or office with this Chippendale style card table / dining table. This table has beautiful cabriole legs and ball and claw feet! The table is in the style of the Philadelphia school as shown by the richly hand carved scrolled knees on each cabriole leg. The table is solid mahogany except for the skirt which is flame mahogany veneer. The top can be flipped open to make a card table which exposes the mahogany hard top as seen in the photo. When closed, as a side table the top has leather which is decorated around the border in a delicate gold floral design. The table opens to form a dining table which expands so you can add leafs. Other features of the table are gadrooning design around the edge of table, serpentine front with rope carved edging, and rounded corners. This table does not have any leafs so it can be used as a card table or as a side table. Fresh to market out of a local estate. VERY BEAUTIFUL AND DECORATIVE AS A SIDE TABLE! Excellent condition.
