Lovely French Onyx mantel clock, circa. 1860! This beautiful clock is all original and carved from one piece of Belgian onyx stone. It is made with quality and great detail in Louis XV style with ornate Rococo designs. The original gilt ormolu mounts are applied to the sides, top and feet of clock. A very unusual and unique feature of this clock is the gold gilded dial with porcelain shield numbers and seconds. The dial is marked "E. Jaccard Jewelry Co., St. Louis, MO". It is an 8-day clock with chimes on the half hour and hour. Fresh to market! Make this classy and elegant piece a focal point for any room! Dimensions: 16.5"H. Excellent condition.
