This is a rare old San Francisco bowie knife, which is complete and intact with it's original old sheath, and has never been tampered with.

This was likely made about 1890, and was imported from Germany to be sold to miners heading to Alaska for the Klondike gold rush.

This is in good condition, with normal toning and patina and light wear from normal use.

This weighs about 249 grams, or just a bit under 9 ounces, before being packed.

This measures 10 7/8 in the sheath. The blade is 6 1/8 long, and 1 inch wide. The handle is 4 1/16 long.
