Here is a Doulton Lambeth Salt Glaze Mug dating from 1883-1886. It stands 5-1/4” tall by 5-1/4” at its widest including the handle. It has applied decorations of a hunt and garden scene; The hunt scene is a horseman and his hounds in pursuit of a stag and the garden scene is of three men at different tables, smoking a pipe, lifting a tankard of ale, and sleeping. It’s quite nice in two tones of ochre, and the applied scenes are in an off white that really stands out. The mug is perfect condition.
