I found this matched pair of 1950s Murano decanters in the garage at a local estate sale. I guess they'd been "retired." They're mold-blown, with a pattern of diamond-shaped protrusions (photo 5). The bottles were twisted so that the diamond pointss seem to spiral. Both still have their original stoppers (photo 6), but the cork that held them in the bottle securely has rotted away and they're quite wobbly. But there's no damage to either of these decanters, not even wear on the bases (photo 9). Free shipping.
