Mother and Chick Cobalt Glass Gilded Quail, Mold-blown

I found this gilded cobalt mother and chick quail pair at the rural estate sale where I purchased the quail covered dishes, but this isn't the first time I've run across molded glass quail in this region. The mother quail is 3.5" high and 3.5" long (photo 5); the chick is 2" high and 2.5" long (photo 6). Some of the gilding has worn off, and the mother has what looks like a spot of white paint that may be easily removed (photo 5). Both have bases covered by green felt (photo 7), and what appear to be a few fleabites along the bottom edge. These don't show unless you look for them, and they may be small pock marks from the mold.
