Fratelli Toso Opalino Folded Bowl, Mint

This opalino (or opalescent) folded bowl was created by Fratelli Toso, the Murano firm that rejuvenated the Venetian art glass tradition in 1854. It is translucent and primarily pink in color, although shades of blue and lavender are visible, with the pink verging on red in certain light. It's 6.5" long, 5.5" wide, and not quite 2.5" high, and one side was folded over. Leslie Pina's book on Fratelli Toso has photos of other opalino glass items on pages 92 and 179. Aside from very light scratches on the base, the bowl is in mint condition.
