Large Amber Viking "Spike" Bowl, 1969

This large amber "spike" bowl (and smaller ones) was introduced in Viking's 1969 catalog. The design was in their Epic line, #6900. The bowl was made in a spin mold, and it has the characteristic spoked wheel on the base. This is the large salad or fruit bowl. It's 10.5" in diameter and 4.5" high, and in mint condition--no chips, flakes, cracks, or scratches. (I have 2 of the large serving bowls in green at item #1530.)
