Folded Crystal Clamshell Bowl, Sand-blasted Maker's Logo

$75 USD Offers ConsideredFolded Crystal Clamshell Bowl, Sand-blasted Maker's Logo

Glass:Mid-20th C. Art Glass
This elegant crystal folded clamshell bowl is at least equal to the artistry of art glass made on Murano or a Scandinavian company. It's a very heavy piece of glass, and measures 8.5" in length, 7" in width, and 3.5" in height. In form, it began as a bowl with a thick, out-turned rim. Then one side was pulled up and folded in and crimped in five places to produce the scalloped design. At both ends the rim was pulled down and sharply crimped to make the "ram's horns" that touch the outer surface. ...
Large Amethyst Goblet w/ Crystal Stem, Mint

$17 USD Offers ConsideredLarge Amethyst Goblet w/ Crystal Stem, Mint

Glass:Mid-20th C. Art Glass
This large amethyst goblet is 8" tall and 6 1/4" in diameter across the rim. There is slight wear around the edge of the foot and the goblet needs to be washed--especially around the rim (see first 2 photos)--but there is no damage at all--no chips, cracks, or flakes.
Large Crystal Sommerso Vase, Vintage

$45 USD Offers ConsideredLarge Crystal Sommerso Vase, Vintage

Glass:Mid-20th C. Art Glass
This large, and very heavy, crystal sommerso vase is probably Murano art glass. The pontil is nicely ground and polished, and lacks the concave polished area typical of Scandinavian and Erickson glass. It stands 9.5" high, and is about 10" in circumference. There are a couple of loose air bubbles in the bottom, typical of mouth-blown glass, and a small scratch on the base (about 5:30 in photo 3) that looks like a manufacturing flaw. Otherwise, the vase is in beautiful condition!
Green Mold-Blown Pitcher w/ Pinched Spout, Vintage

$22 USDGreen Mold-Blown Pitcher w/ Pinched Spout, Vintage

Glass:Mid-20th C. Art Glass
I haven't been able to positively identify this pitcher, but it might be a Bischoff product. Faint seams on both sides indicate that it was blown in a double mold, and it has an attached drop-over handle. Ywo sides of the rim were folded in to make the pinched spout. It's 7.75" high and in mint condition, aside from a few loose bubbles.
