Here we have a nice piece! It is a Chinese Foo Dog seal. It stands 4 3/4" high and is 1 1/2" wide. Cylindrical shaped, and has the Foo Dog carved on the top. It also has writing on the front side, with a scene, carved into it, which goes around the piece. The bottom has the persons personal seal mark cut into it. Don't know the exact age of the piece, but it has quite a bit of age, and has a box, which has a bone pin to latch it closed. Needs a cleaning, if you would clean such an item. Well done carving! Nice piece for a collection of Foo Dog's! It is some kind of stone, with a mix of grey, green, and a few other colors mixed in.
