Bronze Parrot Paperweight, with Brass Lead Pencil

Here we have an unusual paperweight. It is of a parrot, and is made of bronze. It measurea approximately 1 1/2" high and about the same in the length of the bird. The pencil is a little over 3" long, and still has lead in it. Still works! Twist the top for extending the lead or retracting it. It is attached to the parrot with an old nylon string at the base of the paperweight. Both are marked, Made in Japan. Nice early pieces!
