United, Self Starting, Horse, Mantle Clock

Here we have a very nice, mantle clock, by United Clock Co.. The base is wood, and measures 17" long, and is 5" wide, and marked No, 315, and has a felt cover over the bottom. The horse and clock measure 16" long, and the horse is 10" high, and 11" long from nose to tail. Needs a little cleaning on the exterior, but due to the age, it isn't that bad of dirt. I cleaned some of it, but haven't taken any pains. It runs great, but needs a plug end, as you can see in the photos. The end is dry rotted, and has exposed metal. If you want a thrill, just plug it in, and hold on to the side of the plug!!!!!!! Dates to 1940, according to the patent number! Great clock!!!!!!!
