Vintage Kitty Cat in Victorian Style Boot Charm

Being a feline fancier myself I hoard cat related charms for my own bracelets as well as for use on my contemporary designed ones. Here is a sweet rendition of the lovable puss in boots charm.

Perfect for a fairy tale or victorian themed bracelet this ca.50-60's charm is in great condition and bears a warm patina. Although unmarked as such it is indeed Sterling and had been tested.

Measures 1/2 x 3/4 inch with the loop.

Most Vintage charm collectors like the patina to be undisturbed, this adds potentially higher value to some charms. Patina is not the same as tarnish... Patina is the soft glow caused by bits of tarnish settling into the natural minute scratches in Sterling Silver that occur overtime. A gentle sweep with a silver cloth will remove unattractive superfluous tarnish yet leave the depth and dimension of the low areas - nooks & crannies - scratches - or what have you. Using a dip or scouring a charm will remove all of the good deposits of tarnish. Again, your choice by all means but a gentle hand is usually a safer bet when cleaning Vintage Sterling.
