Circa 1930’s-40’s, this Bakelite necklace measures 16 inches long opened. It is comprised of ½ inch round light butterscotch Bakelite beads that are interspersed with brass and chrome embellishments, which fit into each preceding bead. The chrome area is in between the brass (see photos). This Bakelite beads taper down slightly towards the back, culminating in two smaller beads, which have the hidden closure, which screws open (see photos) and works perfectly and is quite clever! SEE ALL PHOTOS.
The Vintage Bakelite necklace lies perfectly on the neck and the added attraction of the brass and chrome, enables the gorgeous Bakelite beads to stand out even more.
The patina is prefect on the Bakelite beads and test positive for Bakelite. The entire Vintage necklace is in mint condition without any damage whatsoever.
