Circa 1950’s, this amazing Alaska state tablecloth, still in original box with the paper tag and four napkins, measures 36 inches wide and 38 inches long. The original yellow tag on the tablecloth itself, states: GENUINE CACTUS CLOTH, HAND PRINTED, FAST COLORS,” along with complete washing instructions (see photo). The background of this so very collectible vintage textile state cloth, is an oatmeal color, a perfect backdrop for the fabulous colors and motif. Imprinted on the bottom of the cloth is ALASKA in larger 1 ½ lettering in bright blue, red and yellow. The map on the vintage cloth depicts many Alaskan cites such as Juneau, Anchorage plus many, many attractions and neighboring islands. The coloration is wonderful, being red, yellow and bright blue. The cloth is bordered in bright red, which enables the wonderful Alaskan map to stand out even more! There are pictures of salmon cans, fish, totem poles, etc. BE SURE TO SEE ALL PHOTOS to appreciate the wonderful and amazing detailing on this unique Vintage textile state tablecloth. There are also four napkins with this vintage textile set, each depicting a different Alaskan motif: Alaskan husky, totem pole, cache, and Eskimo!
