Circa 1940’s, this vanity tray measures 15 inches long including the chrome handles and 8 inches wide, including the chrome frame. The inside glass is clear and the crowning glory are the two etched flamingo birds! One etched flamingo bird is standing erect, while the other one is bending forward, beak touching in the grass, which is also etched into the glass. The details are wonderful. BE SURE TO SEE ALL THE PHOTOS. Very difficult to photograph because of the reflections, anything that might appear to be in an imperfection is not, as the vanity tray is perfect.
There are rounded chrome handles on either side of the tray, along with a chrome border along the entire tray. This entire tray has such as wonderful tropical appearance because of the flamingos – so Florida in the 40’s!
Ideal for an Art Deco vanity in a bedroom for displaying vintage perfume scent bottles, this tray will also look spectacular on a sideboard in a dining room and used for serving canapés perhaps.
As stated above the tray is in mint condition and ready to be used and enjoyed.
