Circa 1940’s-50’s, this vintage alligator purse handbag measures about 7 inches in width with generous side gussets of 2 inches for extra room. It is about 7 inches tall. The vintage purse flares out slightly towards the bottom, adding to the elegant and graceful style. There is a bright and shiny brass frame, visible on the top, sides and permanently loops for the handle. There is a 1 inch wide brass closure on top. There is some slight discoloration on this area of the brass and no where else on the brass trim. PLEASE BE SURE TO SEE THE MANY PHOTOS OF THIS PURSE TO APPRECIATE THE WONDERFUL DETAILS.

This Vintage Alligator purse has a chocolate brown textured lining, in mint condition. There is an inside compartment.

There is a 1 ¼ inch wide handle in the same alligator skin which, as stated above, is attached via brass rings on either side.

A fabulous Vintage Alligator Purse with soft and supple skins in a rich and delicious chocolate brown, which will be a wonderful accompaniment to any outfit – be it sporty or vintage couture. Except for above noted slight discoloration on the brass closure, it is in perfect condition and a welcome addition to any Vintage Purse collection.
