This darling designer vintage Lucite purse, circa 1950’s, measures 7 “ long and 3 ½” deep. It is 3” tall. The ½” wide free form Lucite handle is moveable and elegant in its design.

This vintage Lucite purse is white in color with a marbleized effect throughout. This Rialto purse closes on the top with a rectangular top measuring about 5”. There are small brass nail heads on the back and front andit has a wonderful “clicking” sound when the top meets the purse with its round brass ball inside. There are the same two brass nail heads on the sides of the swinging free form handle.

The four bottom corners of the purse are slightly rounded and elegant. The inside hinge is a bright and shiny brass with the original label – RIALTO, BKLYN, NY. This designer label is absolutely perfect and intact!

Rialto was certainly one of the prominent Lucite purse designers in the 50’s and even at that time was expensive being sold in better and fine retail establishments for as much as $50 or $75 at that time!

This marbleized vintage Rialto purse is free of any cracks, splits, warping or odors. There is one small area of “clouding” on the front bottom, which actually blends in with the marbleized effect and design of this vintage Lucite handbag.

This fabulous Lucite handbag accessory will be a wonderful addition to any vintage purse collection.
