Circa 1930’-s-40’s, this vintage Bakelite hat pin measures 5 ¾ inches long. The entire Vintage Bakelite hat pin is so very Art Deco in design! The bottom portion, alone measures 4 inches long. The bottom is rounded and narrows towards the top and is quite striking! The color of the top portion and bottom portion is a fabulous green Bakelite. The stick portion is in between the top and bottom. The top section is also green Bakelite and is rounded, and looks amazing next to the bottom portion. The top portion unscrews, enabling one to place this vintage hat pin either through a vintage hat perhaps, a suit lapel or other garment. It is totally free of any rust. The top portion unscrews perfectly from the bottom.
This vintage Bakelite hat pin has a bright and shiny patina and tests positive for Bakelite. It is in perfect condition and free of any damage whatsoever. It will so very stunning on anything one chooses to wear it on!
