Circa 1930’s-40, this complete set of eight dessert or sherbet dishes were produced by the Federal Glass Company. The Federal Glass Company was originally founded in Ohio in the early 1900’s and continued production until around 1979. Glassware produced by this company bear the marking (as these dessert dishes do) of an open shield with a capital F in the center (see photos). Each footed dessert or sherbet dish measures just a tad under 3 inches tall. There is a width of 4 inches at the widest portion. There is a sleek Art Deco inspired shape and design to these footed Depression glass dessert dishes, with vertical faceted around the entire dish. Each dish flares out slightly, also adding to the deco look. The color, as stated above, is a wonderful green Depression glass. SEE ALL PHOTOS.
The compete set of eight dessert dishes are so very useful and are in mint condition, free of any damage whatsoever and are ready to be used and enjoyed.
