A charming Vintage Bakelite Napkin Ring is presented. This Bakelite napkin ring is designed in the shape of standing bird and is two-toned Bakelite complete with a cream corn colored beak! A grouping of these wonderful Vintage Bakelite napkin rings are pictured in “Bakelite in the Kitchen” by Barbara E. Mauzy, page 172.

Vintage Bakelite napkin rings that are two toned are particularly collectible and desired by collectors. This circa 1930’s-40’s vintage Bakelite kitchenware collectible napkin ring, as stated above, is two toned bakelite, with the body of the bird being a deep green bakelite with a slight butterscotch cast to the color. Creating a sensational contrast, the pointed beak is deep cream corn colored Bakelite. This bakelite napkin ring measures 2 ½ inches tall and 3 inches wide including the bird’s tail and the beak. The tail on the Bakelite bird is the same color Bakelite as the body of the bird. There are sleek horizontal deep Art Deco inspired carvings on top of the Bakelite bird’s head which creates a fabulous Art Deco effect.
