Circa 1930’s-40’s, this versatile vintage Bakelite chopper with its multiple blades, was a must have for any vintage kitchen of the era. It measures 6 inches in length, including the Art Deco designed red Bakelite handle. The bright cherry red Bakelite handle measures 1 ¾ inch in width, with vertical Art Deco ridges along the entire handle.
On one of the blades of this vintage Bakelite kitchenware implement it is marked CORONA STAINLESS STEEL (see photos). This fabulous and useful vintage kitchenware utensil preceded all our modern kitchen equipment today and functioned wonderfully.
There is minimal discoloration on the collar of the chopper but is in otherwise excellent condition. The red Bakelite handle tests positive for Bakelite.
