Circa 1930’s-40’s, this Bakelite vintage Bakelite bangle is quite wide, having a width of 1 1/8 inch wide! The color as stated above is a smashing lipstick red Bakelite, which truly shows off the fabulous carvings. The entire surface of the Bakelite bangle is carved in a semicircular pattern, creating a free flowing abstract Art Deco inspired motif. When viewed from the top and the bottom the details of the carvings show as well (see photos) and create an almost scalloped effect. The depth is ¼ of an inch and the inside diameter is the standard and comfortable 2 ½ inches. The carvings are gracefully executed in this very unique Vintage Bakelite bangle bracelet.
