Miriam Haskell Gold~Tone Japanese Fan Brooch with Faux Pearls

Presented here is a vintage, circa 1960’s, signed Miriam Haskell gold tone fan brooch with a Japanese motif. Hand wired into the fan sticks are eleven of those tiny, cream-colored, imitation freshwater pearls Haskell loved to use.

The brooch is in very good condition, the faux pearls are lustrous and show no chipping or scratches, the pin stem is straight and strong, the locking clasp works securely. There is no damage or repair. The fan is three-dimensional with tapered “folds” forming a crenellated edge.

The fan measures 2~5/8” at the widest point by 1~3/8” tall.

This is a lovely piece of costume jewelry which will add panache to almost any outfit.
