Fiery Precious Opal Cameo on Black Onyx – 18K Pendant- Brooch

Presented here, for your consideration, is a modern, circa 1980's, very wearable, precious white opal gemstone cameo mounted on a background of black onyx. The combination pendant & brooch is bezel set in an 18K yellow gold (tested) graduated oval frame. One full brilliant cut .03ct white diamond is bead set at the top center of the frame.

The very attractive solid 18K gold frame has many narrow, flat strips of gold like curved “spokes” radiating out from the onyx oval.

This fiery gem opal displays a full spectrum play of color throughout the well-carved bust - portrait of a beautiful woman.

This fine modern cameo dates to the late 20th Century.

The brooch measures: 1-3/8” in length by 1” across.

This is a high quality piece of jewelry in like-new condition. The wearable art brooch would be a very special heirloom quality gift or make a marvelous addition to a fine cameo collection.
