REDUCED Edwardian 18K White Gold Antique Filigree Ring .52 ct Diamond

ONE OF THE BEST!! This is an 18K White Gold, stamped and tested, die-cut filigree ring made in the early Art Deco, or Edwardian Era, circa 1905 to 1915. The ring has a navette shaped top which is approximately 15 mm wide and 22.6 mm long. The entire top is ornately pierced in an openwork foliate and flowers design.The top of the ring is slightly domed above an open gallery. The ring has a shank which is integrated into the navette shaped top and tapers down to a narrow polished shank at the back of the ring.

The ring size is currently 5 1/4, it weighs 3.4 grams. This ring can easily be sized up or down by a qualified jeweler.

There is a beautiful Oval Cushion-Shaped Old European Cut Diamond claw set at the center of the ring. The diamond is set into a cut-corner rectangular frame which has mille-grained edge detail. The clarity grade of the diamond is I1, the color grade is G-H.

This half carat plus diamond is simply thrilling to look at. Sunlight transforms it into spikes of prismatic color in an eye-catching aurora. The old cut is enchanting and the diamond appears HUGE framed in this manner.
