Shown here for your consideration is a bold and beautiful high quality modern ring. The mostly 18K WHITE gold ring has just a touch of 18K YELLOW gold enhancing the edges of the yellow diamonds bezel settings. This Lady’s "Dress Ring", "Right Hand Ring", "Wedding Ring" or whatever you want to call it is luxurious and fashionable. Based on a design by Paloma Piccasso, originally produced by Tiffany & Co, NY.

The cast and hand assembled construction has three “X’s”, paved with white diamonds, applied to the domed crown of the ring.

It is a large scale ring, the width of the band (North to South) at the top measuring 5/8”; the tapered dome is 7/8” across (East to West). The gold weight tips the scale at 11.5 Grams of 18K, a hefty weight for a lady’s ring. The back of the band graduates down to 3/16”; the gold is thick throughout the ring. It has a smooth, polished finish on the inner surface as well as at the back of the band; the dome has a matte finish showing behind the mille-grained edges of the paved “X’s”. It is a ring size 6 ½ and it is very comfortable on the hand. It is possible to have this ring sized up several sizes by a qualified jeweler.

There are twenty-four (24) white diamonds with an estimated combined weight of .50ct. Set in yellow gold bezels are 11 light yellow to slightly brownish-yellow diamonds with an estimated combined weight of .35ct. The average clarity is SI1 – SI2; the average color grade of the white diamonds is F-G/G-H. The diamonds ar a mixture of full modern brilliant cut and single cut.

The symbols on this ring represent Hugs and Kisses; the use of these design elements was introduced by Tiffany & Co. in the 1980’s. Those pieces of fine jewelry would be what inspired the creation of this unsigned piece. The ring is stamped on the inner band 18K, 750.
