Beautiful Vintage Chinese Green Jadeite Hinged Bangle 14K YG Circa 1950’s

Presented here is a really lovely vintage Natural Chinese Jade and 14K Yellow Gold Hinged Bangle . This vintage 1950’s round bracelet is created with a circular ring of high quality, genuine, natural, medium-light green Jadeite Jade; rare untreated Jade, not dyed.

The color of this high quality fine Jadeite circlet is translucent, medium-light green with evenly distributed mottling of very slightly bluish-gray, medium-green. The classic Jade “wrist ring” bangle is encased in a fitted tube of 14K yellow gold. The tubular casing has four evenly spaced oval shaped cutouts where the Jade is displayed in a sort of “peek-a-boo” pattern. It is hinged for ease of putting it on and taking it off. The upper part of the 14K gold is delicately engraved with bamboo leaves; the interior has a smooth polished finish. There is a “V” Spring and invisible (hidden) box clasp which has a darling, tiny gold heart at the top of the release button, also, a safety chain for added security. The hinge is so well hidden that it is difficult to see even on very close inspection. This very well crafted piece of jewelry will fit up to a 6 ¾” wrist size comfortably. It is in perfect condition and of heirloom quality.

The bangle’s interior circumference measures 7” around; the inside diameter is 2-1/8”; the outside diameter is 2-7/8”. The diameter of the Jade is ¼”. The opening for slipping your hand into the bangle measures a generous 3-1/8”. It weighs 26 Grams.
