Artisan Jewelry : Bracelets : Petal Pink Dichroic Lampwork Beads

 

In this bracelet I have combined five of my own original shimmering, unique, iridescent dichroic lampwork glass beads with fire-polished AB faceted crystal bead spacers and six petal pink coin pearls. The toggle is made of thick Sterling Silver.

I have kiln annealed each of the ‘made in the flame’ beads and reamed the bead holes for lasting strength and a clean appearance. The five dichroic pink beads are translucent and shine with a variety of effects from a pearly pale pink to glittery fuchsia. The beads measure from 11.5 mm tp 17 mm in diameter.

These “coins” are real pearls, cultivated in the Far East, in fresh water. The luster they display is beautifully shiny and the range of colors in the iridescence is truly captivating. The flat almost round coin pearls have a pink body color with a touch of peach and a dash of lavender. The play of light glows in hues of aqua, pink, peach and lavender. They measure 12.2 to 12.8 mm in diameter.

The one of a kind bracelet measures 8 ¾” in length and fits most lady’s wrists between size 7” and 8 ¼”. Remember that the size of the beads takes up some of the length when fitting around the wrist.
