Presented here is a very large scale Antique Lady’s Dress Ring set with 53 beautiful Rose-Cut Bohemian Garnet gemstones. The gold filled European Silver cluster ring dates to circa 1900; it is stamped .800 on its inner shank.

The ring fits a size 7 ½; it measures 1 ½” North to South by 11/16” East to West; it is 3/8” tall. Not for the faint of heart, this ring is as long a ring as I’ve ever seen!

Each of these perfectly matched deep ruby red genuine Bohemian Garnets is claw set on one of the three stepped tiers which make up the Marquis Shaped top of the ring. Fifty of the garnets measure 4 mm in diameter and three measure 4.5 mm.

The gold filled European Silver, sometimes called “Garnet Gold”, shows some rubbing on the shank of the ring. There are no other signs of wear; it is not dented, bent, or repaired in any way. The gem quality Bohemian Garnets are well-matched & firmly mounted; they are original to the piece and in good condition with well-defined facets and no chips or scratches. After more than 100 yrs each stone still captures light to display a sparkling flash of fiery red from deep within. This is the exciting magic of antique Bohemian Garnet jewelry.
