26 Old photographs from 1918 of France after World War These photographs actually are acid enriched photographs hand made and developed just after the locales in France, particularly in Paris and neighboring landscapes. They have been marked on the bottom margin in French.and English. One photograph is the American Cemetery, where many soldiers were buried of American nationality. The photographs are each in good and stable condition. The photos are marked "A. Humblot et cie Nancy". The A. Humblot Company operated in Nancy, France for most of the 20th century, publishing books, photographs, prints, and other documents. They were particularly well-known for their photographs of, and books about, Nancy and the Lorraine area. These photographs are known as "panoramics". These were photographs depicting a wide filed. Frequently, military units were photographed in this way, since it enabled the photographer to get a large number of people into one picture. , These photos of the destruction in France left behind after World War I were originally taken in 1918, They are 22 inches long and6 inches tall.
